Abdul Khalid, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist in Raleigh, North Carolina, providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults. He takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, symptoms, and treatment goals and works collaboratively to develop a practical, personalized treatment plan.
Dr. Khalid provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, sleep difficulties, and other mental health conditions. He also has extensive experience treating substance use disorders and provides medication-assisted treatment when clinically appropriate.

Dr. Khalid completed his psychiatry residency training at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center in New York. During his residency, he completed more than two years of clinical rotations through Columbia University-affiliated programs and gained experience across a variety of psychiatric settings.
He is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been practicing psychiatry since 2009.
